Samoas Rice Krispie Treats are chewy, sweet rice Krispie treats dipped in chocolate and topped with a caramel coconut mixture to mimic the Samoa cookie flavors we all love so much.

Samoas Rice Krispy Treats
If I’m being honest, a basic Rice Krispie Treat is not something I crave often.
When there are so many cookies, brownies, and cakes waiting to be made, plain Rice Krispie treats just don’t call my name most of the time.
However, when you add some caramel, chocolate, and coconut, it jazzes them up and turns them into a special treat. A treat you should probably make right now, just because you want one!
Girl Scout Samoas
Whether you call them Samoas or Caramel deLites, the classic chocolate + caramel + coconut-covered Girl Scout cookies are an ever-popular favorite.
These Rice Krispy Treats are based on that much-loved flavor combination.
This combination adds up to a whole lot of deliciousness for everyone lucky enough to taste it!
Coconut lovers can’t resist Fudgy brownies filled with sweet chewy coconut and melting chocolate chips is a combination that I can never resist. Crustless Coconut Pie is a simple custard pie filled to the brim with sweet bites of coconut.

Samoa Rice Krispie Treat Ingredients

- butter
- miniature marshmallows
- semi-sweet chocolate chips
- coconut flakes
- caramel sauce homemade or store-bought

Samoa Rice Krispie Treat Recipe
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in marshmallows until melted. Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies. Press into a well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool completely and cut into 24 bars.
- Melt chocolate chips in a deep microwave proof bowl, stirring every 10 seconds. When the chocolate is completely melted, dip the bottom 1/3 of each Rice Krispie Treat into the chocolate and let them dry completely upside down.
- Mix together the caramel sauce and coconut together in a small bowl. Place a small spoonful on the top of each treat and drizzle with more melted chocolate and let it set. These are best enjoyed fresh, the same day.

Can I just spread melted chocolate over the top of whole pan, let it dry, then flip over and do the caramel coconut topping on the other side to make it simpler?
I think that will work, Jill. You won’t have quite the same level of chocolate coating on each pieces, but you’ll get a similar result for sure.
An absolute hit at my sister in law’s bridal shower. This is a great spin on a traditional rice crispy treat. Definitely deserves 5 stars.
I’m glad you enjoyed the recipe, Lara!
