These Apple Blondies with Brown Sugar Frosting are packed with delicious fall flavors in a soft, cinnamon apple blondie.

Brown Sugar Frosted Apple Blondies

Apple Cinnamon Blondies

These are soft and chewy blondies with a perfect cinnamon flavor to compliment the apples in each bite. These apple-filled bars are delicious both with and without the frosting, but that brown sugar frosting takes an apple blondie right over the top.

Just like these buttery sweet brown sugar blondies with candy corn, apple cinnamon blondies are a fun seasonal treat that kids and adults alike enjoy.

Wondering what the difference is between blondies and brownies? They are both delicious baked treats, but they differ in key ingredients.

Blondies are made with brown sugar, giving them a rich caramel flavor, and brownies add cocoa or chocolate to the mix for a deep, chocolatey taste. Blondies tend to be buttery and vanilla-flavored, with a chewy texture, while brownies typically have a rich chocolate flavor and fudgy texture.

While the blondies are in the oven, make the brown sugar frosting. Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and heat until bubbly and let bubble for about 2 mins.

Add the milk and cook for another 30-60 seconds until no longer grainy. Remove the pan from the heat and add the vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Add more milk if necessary to thin it out.

Frost the bars with the warm frosting about 2 minutes after they come out of the oven. Cool completely before slicing.
