Pepperoni pizza dip is the perfect party appetizer. I mean, who doesn’t love a piping hot, melting cheese dip full of pepperoni?
Easy Pizza Dip
Dips and savory snacks are an entertaining and weekend must around our house. Especially when they are hot, creamy, and cheesy. Yes, they are indulgent and filling, but I just can’t help myself and keep making them!
While I might hesitate to show up at a party with my favorite take-out pizza, I’m betting no one would turn down this pepperoni pizza dip. (And lucky for all of us it’s even easier to make this dip than it might be to pick up a pizza!)
A pile of crostini, crackers, or even tortilla chips alongside it and they will literally be diving in and the pan will be wiped clean.
Chances are your friends may beg you to bring it again the next time. If you are like me having some go-to options (like this Layered Taco Dip!) for those parties or when entertaining sure makes life easy.
Pizza dip with just pepperoni is pizza perfection. However, this is an awesome start to so many options. Add on sausage and bacon for a meat lovers’ version. or load it up for a supreme pizza version.
Hot Pizza Dip
To make this you will definitely want to grease your baking dish. Combine the cream cheese, one cup of mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese and spread it into the greased baking dish.
After pouring the marinara sauce over the cheese mixing sprinkle with Italian seasoning. For a little kick add some red pepper flakes as well. Top with cheese and pepperoni.
I like to cut the pepperoni pieces into halves or quarters. After making this a few times a friend told me that you can actually get tiny mini pepperoni as well that are about 1/2″ in diameter. I am going to look for those to use next time.
Once it is baked and bubbly serve it with crostinis or crackers. You can also use bagel chips or pretzel chips, even Melba toast chips. Something a bit sturdy for scooping up that cheesy goodness without breaking is key.
