The -ber months are in full swing. Wonderful sweater weather has arrived. And, that means it’s time for all things pumpkin at my house. This Pumpkin Spice Creamer is the perfect at-home fall treat.

Pumpkin Spice Creamer
As cliche as it may be, I adore my pumpkin spice lattes, and this pumpkin streusel coffee cake, and these iced pumpkin cookies, too. Seriously, is there a better way to start a fall morning than with a PSL in hand and a sweet treat to pair with it?
I eagerly count down the days until late August when they begin to appear in the coffee shops near me. Sharing the joy of their arrival with other coffee lovers is just one of the many small pleasures in my life.
And, while I love a coffeehouse latte, I needed an at-home pumpkin spice creamer for convenience. Because sometimes this girl just doesn’t want to get dressed to go out and get her caffeine fix. Sometimes, pajamas and a cozy chair are much more appealing. So, feel free to consider this recipe an open invitation to join me in pajama-land.

I have tried the name-brand flavors in the store. They just aren’t the same. But, this homemade pumpkin spice creamer is perfect for me.
The brown sugar in this recipe adds deep richness to the yummy pumpkin flavors. There’s a hint of caramel to it. And, by using canned pumpkin puree instead of pie filling, we get to control the exact level of sweetness.
Pumpkin Coffee Creamer
Let me just admit for a moment that I was a late bloomer when it came to my love for coffee. It’s true. Only after my sister introduced me to Cafe con Leche did I finally climb aboard. But, nowadays, I find myself making lattes for pretty much everyone who visits.
There’s something so delightful in the process. Watching the espresso brew, steaming the milk, and delivering a warm mug to a close friend or family who’s come to visit. Being able to add a seasonal flavor like this pumpkin coffee creamer takes it over the top for me.

Homemade Coffee Creamers
When I lived in Phoenix, I never really got to appreciate the seasons. We pretty much just rotated through hot, hotter, hottest, and hot. Now that I live in Ohio, I’ve found a lot of joy in simply being present in nature for each of the changing seasons. And, while Christmas will forever rule my heart, fall is my second favorite season.
Right now, pumpkin spice coffee creamer reigns as the king in my morning routine. But, when I switch into holiday mode you can bet homemade eggnog coffee creamer and peppermint mocha creamer will become my go-to flavors.

I am going to dime out my brother as perhaps the one person I know who should avoid this pumpkin spice creamer recipe. I’ve never met another person who was more prone to scorch the milk or break a sauce while cooking.
This recipe is really simple, but it does require your full attention for the short time it takes. Stir continuously to prevent scorching the milk. I like to use a whisk to keep it all moving smoothly. As soon as the mixture starts to steam, shut off the heat and remove the pan to cool.

Pumpkin Spice Recipes
Hoodies and sweaters in the fall make everything taste better, but you can definitely enjoy pumpkin year-round. If you are a pumpkin lover too, here are some recipes you will enjoy.
I adore these pumpkin puff pastry turnovers. They’re super easy to put together. And, they look fabulous and taste divine. That’s the trifecta for impressive potluck and brunch desserts.
Speaking of brunch, I have to recommend ultra-soft and fluffy Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls. And, they get bonus points here because they pair beautifully with a fresh latte made with this pumpkin spice creamer.
This is the best pumpkin sheet cake you will have all year. We’re talking about a delicious, moist crumb with brown butter icing, frosted even while it’s still warm. It doesn’t get much better than that.
I’m frequently asked about the mug in these photos. It was a gift from a friend and I absolutely love it. It’s made by a potter in Oregon and I’ve since gifted the same mugs to many friends and family members.

How much does this make (servings)? It would be great as part of a Christmas gift basket (coffee, mugs, pumpkin dessert). Yum.
