Rich, savory, and hearty, air fryer kielbasa is a tasty addition to many different recipes. There are a whole lot of adjectives I could use to describe kielbasa, but FLAVORFUL is the best one of all.
Smoked sausage is excellent on its own, just sliced up and served with vegetables and a dip. It’s also delicious in stir-fries and skillets, or tossed into pasta dishes. Sauteed with cabbage, or even cooked in the crock-pot with potatoes and green beans, there are countless ways to use kielbasa.

Hands down, this is the simplest “recipe” I have ever shared with you, and it is something I make at least once, if not twice, a month. Cooking kielbasa in the air fryer has become my fallback “what’s for dinner?” option, and luckily, the whole family loves it.
Obsessed, that’s the only word for my current level of use for our air fryer. It’s just so EASY! I avoided using an air fryer for so long because air fryer recipes seem to pop up everywhere I turn, but friends, there’s a solid reason for that.

Air Fryer Kielbasa
Kielbasa is my go-to protein that I keep on hand for easy meals. It’s pretty much guaranteed that you’ll find kielbasa or some kind of smoked sausage in our home at all times. Unopened, it keeps nicely for a good while in the fridge, and it can be added to any number of different recipes.
I typically saute or roast the kielbasa, but the air fryer makes it so much easier with almost no cleanup effort required, especially if you use these paper liners in your air fryer. Pair the kielbasa with creamy mac and cheese or spicy Cajun rice, or serve it with a pasta or potato salad.

Kielbasa in the Air Fryer
The kielbasa can be sliced pretty much however you like. When I’m in a hurry, I usually just cut it into 1-inch pieces. However, if I have a few extra minutes prep time, I like to slice it pretty thin. I find that when I slice it thin, it feels like a whole lot more meat and it does a terrific job of satisfying my carnivorous family.
You can use any smoked sausage that you like for this recipe. We especially like this roasted garlic smoked sausage that we buy at Costco, but I’ve also used regular kielbasa from the grocery store for about as long as I can remember.
