Peach Blueberry Crisp

Peaches and blueberries are wonderful together. Each of these fruits ranges from tart to sweet, but together they help this peach and blueberry crisp hit way above its weight class in the flavor department.

And, the fact that its a crisp means almost zero effort. Just throw the ingredients in the bowl, give it a stir, and pour them into the baking dish. This blueberry peach crisp really does come together in just minutes.

Blueberry Peach Crisp

You’ll need the following ingredients to make this recipe:

  • peaches and blueberries
  • lemon juice
  • brown sugar
  • cornstarch
  • cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt

Crisp Topping Ingredients

  • old-fashioned oats
  • flour
  • brown sugar
  • butter

Start by preheating the oven to 400°F. Then, grease a 9-inch pan or 2½ quart baking dish with butter. Slice the peaches into uniform wedges, then place them and the blueberries in a large bowl.

Drizzle the fruit in the bowl with lemon juice. Then, sprinkle with the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cornstarch. Stir to coat the fruit and then pour into the greased baking dish.

Adding the other ingredients to the fresh fruit in the mixing bowl prior to stirring them together.

In the same bowl used for the fruit, stir together the oats, flour, and brown sugar. Next, add the butter and stir with a fork until crumbs form. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly on top of the fruit.

Bake for 22-24 minutes, until the crisp topping has lightly browned and the fruit mixture is bubbling. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Fruit Filling Ingredients

  • 4-5 peaches sliced approximately ½-inch thick, about 4 cups worth
  • 10 ounces blueberries about 2 cups worth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • tablespoons cornstarch
