How to Make Blueberry Compote
You’ll need the following ingredients to make this recipe:
- blueberries
- sugar
- water
- fresh lemon juice

Blueberry Compote Recipe
Combine half of the blueberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously while the sugar melts and the mixture comes to a boil.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue simmering until the berries are bursting and the mixture is thick and bubbling, about 6-8 minutes.
Stir in the remaining berries. Continue cooking, while stirring occasionally, for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Remove from the heat and cool completely before transferring to an airtight container and storing it in the refrigerator.
