Ingredients

Peach Filling Ingredients

  • 60 ounces canned sliced peaches approximately (4) 14-16 ounce cans
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Crisp Topping Ingredients

  • ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts OPTIONAL
  • ½ cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8 baking dish with butter. Drain the peaches and place them in the greased baking dish. Stir together the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the peaches.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, stir together the oats, flour, brown sugar, and pecans or walnuts. Add the butter and stir with a fork until crumbs form. Sprinkle the topping over the fruit.
  • Bake for 28-30 minutes or until the crisp topping has browned and the fruit liquids are bubbling. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
