Ingredients
8ouncescream cheesesoftened
1½cupsbuttersoftened
1tablespoonvanilla extract
6eggs
3cupssugar
3cupscake flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300°F. Combine the cream cheese and butter in a mixing bowl and beat to combine. Add the vanilla. While beating, add 2 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of flour. Repeat until all of the eggs, sugar, and flour are used.
Lightly brush a 12-cup bundt pan, or (2) 6-cup bundt pans, with vegetable oil and then pour the batter into it. Bake for 70-90 minutes until a toothpick tests clean. (See note below for specific baking times for different pans.)
Allow the cake to cool COMPLETELY before inverting and removing from the pans.
Notes
PLEASE NOTE: This recipe can be baked in a single 12-cup bundt pan for approximately 90 minutes. OR it can be baked in (2) smaller 6-cup bundt pans for about 70 minutes.
