Ingredients

  • 5-6 strips of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Spread the bacon strips out across the sheet pan. Lightly brush each strip with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Bake until browned and shiny with melted sugar, about 15 minutes, or until the bacon is your desired level of crispness.
  • Use tongs to carefully transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate.

Notes

Regular or thick cut bacon will work fine for this recipe. I prefer thinner bacon most of the time, but thicker works nicely too. You'll need a bit of additional baking time, just a few more minutes depending on your oven, so watch and adjust as needed.
