- 1½ pounds flank or skirt steak cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoons kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- fresh Italian parsley finely chopped
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Place the steak in a medium size glass bowl and drizzle with oil. Toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss again to coat.
Transfer the steak to the air fryer basket and spread in a single layer with space between each piece, if possible. Air fry the steak for 4-8 minutes, until desired doneness. (About 4-5 minutes of cook time delivers a perfect medium-rare in my air-fryer.)
While the steak is cooking, wipe out the bowl used to toss the steak earlier. Add the butter and garlic to the bowl and microwave for about 30 seconds to melt the butter.
When the steak is done cooking, transfer it immediately to the bowl with the butter and toss well to coat. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
