Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles
These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles are a fun treat for the whole family to make. An egg free cookie dough rolled in a ball and dipped in chocolate.
Servings: 40 Truffles
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon molasses
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 can 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk, you will use 7 ounces
- 1 2/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 12 ounces dark chocolate for dipping
Beat together the butter, brown sugar, molasses and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy. Add the sweetened condensed milk, flour and salt. Stir until well combined and smooth. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
Roll the dough into 40 balls, slightly less than an inch in diameter. Set the balls on a parchment lined baking sheet and chill for an hour.
Gently melt the chocolate over low heat in a double boiler or in the microwave for 10 second intervals. Dip each of the chilled truffles in the chocolate and let cool completely on parchment paper. Store in the fridge. Will last a week in the refrigerator or several weeks in the freezer.
