Candy Cane Dip
Creamy, lightly sweetened peppermint Candy Cane Dip is the perfect addition to a dessert cookie display or holiday snack tray.

- 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar plus up to ½ cup additional sugar, only as desired
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼-½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- ¼ cup crushed candy canes plus 1 tablespoon for topping
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Slowly add the cream, while beating continuously. Add ½ cup powdered sugar and beat to combine, scraping the sides of the bowl often.
When the mixture is fluffy and smooth, add the sour cream and peppermint extract. Beat again to combine. Taste the mixture and add additional sugar, only if desired.
Add the crushed candy canes and stir to mix throughout. Sprinkle with the remaining candy. Serve with the dippers of your choice.
