In reply to Carol Baughman. Can the cake be frozen? Are you making miniature cakes? My preference would be to bake and freeze the cakes and then glaze them the night before if possible. When thawing them, you run the risk of the texture changing and being less than ideal, especially if you're going to be marketing them.

This is a decadent delicious cake and so easy to make! I made it for a birthday celebration and my family loved it. I got so many compliments I hesitated to let them know it’s a box mix cake!

In reply to jk. It won't be too shallow in the 12 cup pan. I'd use that one for the best results. It won't overflow in the 10 cup, but sometimes it can dome a bit more than I prefer in the smaller pans.

Mary, you state 10-12 cup Bundt pan. I have both. I don’t want the cake to overflow in the 10 cup pan, or look too shallow in the 12 cup pan…
Which size do you use? Thanking you in advance for your help.

In reply to Kayla Westberry. Yes, it will bake nicely in a 9x13 pan. You'll want to start checking for doneness around 25-30 minutes though, as the shallower cake will bake much more quickly than a bundt cake.
