My favorite way to spend a Saturday now that the weather is getting warmer is at one of our many parks around Connecticut, with my children. I pack a picnic with them, we grab a few of our favorite books, some sunscreen and bug spray and we enjoy the beautiful outdoors all day long. l go hiking and take a swim… Its the best way I know to enjoy our Saturday!

On Saturdays I love to open the windows and do some baking. I also try to relax and watch TV or Netflix. I love to go to thrift stores as well.

My favorite way to spend Saturday’s is being outside. In the summer it is working in the gardens; pulling weeds; dividing perennials; planting new plants. Wintertime is finding something fun to do in the snow – sledding with grandkids; snowmobiling; snow blowing, staying active – making a batch of grandma’s kolaches.

Most of my Saturdays are well balanced as well! The start me some “me time” (relaxing, working out, reading, baking, etc) and end with spending time with family or friends. I feel like my weekend are more accomplished that way!
