Just looking at the ingredients and when testing for doneness we should received moist crumbs, sound like a nice moist coffee cake. I have been a caregiver for a long time. This cake can be bakes and froze in small or larger sections. Several pieces of the coffee cake would put smiles on a homebound elderly person. I am going to make this recipe for the coffee cake, but I think it will be a go to cake. It would be easy to add pecans, walnuts or chocolate chips to. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Taste is good . Next time I won’t sprinkle the topping on until just before baking. It seems it settled in the middle even though I sprinkled it evenly over the top. Some settled to the bottom.
