You can also use a bit of heavy cream. The pie consistency will be much firmer without the whipped cream.

Regarding the crushed oreo cookies to make the crust, are you just crushing the hard chocolate cookie part of the oreos or the entire cookie (i.e. cookie AND the white filling)?
