In reply to V. Key limes are notoriously tiny and it takes a great many to produce significant amounts of juice! It can take as many as 20-25 key limes for 1/2 cup of juice. You can absolutely make these with regular limes as well, however the flavor will be stronger and more pronounced with the key limes.

Great cupcakes…but way too much graham cracker for crust…I had enough for 2 dozen cup cakes! Also…batter is enough for 18 cupcakes.
