Yes! Absolutely, however I recommend swapping ClearJel for the cornstarch if you plan to can the pie filling and preserve it that way. Cornstarch and flour are not recommended for canning recipes.

Do I have to wait for it to cool before placing in the pie crust? Not sure if it would melt the crust before it is cooked

Is there a way to preserve these!? They are fantastic and I’d love to have it in the winter when fresh blueberries are harder to come by.

THIS RECIPE EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!
I had 18 pints of fresh blueberries that needed to be used. I've never made homemade pie filling before today. I'm going to make (2) Blueberry Cream Cheese Cakes and freeze the rest in freezer baggies. One for a party celebrating our country's 250th Birthday/Independence Day! The other one I'll deliver to a friend who's brother is today. He is in his last days in the Hospice House. I think she'll enjoy feeding him a little of this delicious dessert on his 70th birthday.
Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe. God bless America, and may God comfort those suffering.
My husband and I enjoyed a biscuit smothered in this amazing blueberry pie filling for brunch!
