We loved it. I added carrots as well and beef broth. Dotted the top with butter. Very flavorful

SO happy I came upon this recipe.
I’m always looking for something easy and delicious—this is it!
Had fresh bratwurst so cut and browned on stove top but then followed recipe as written. It’s great and I’m sure it’ll be one of my go to recipes!

In reply to Kathryn. That should work fine, but I'd recommend tossing the chicken in a bit of oil and a good amount of seasoning to ensure it will be flavorful along with the sausage.
