Here in the states, it’s called brown sugar or light brown sugar.

I have one question, I don’t quite understand what you mean by “Roll tablespoons of the dough around the caramel candies”. would’t the candy then sit on the cookie sheet?. If you could help me out with this it would certainly help me out, as I’m a newbie to baking…Lol

So good!!! My kids LOVED them. The dough appears to be a bit dry when mixed but the cookies are very moist when baked!

It’s missing white sugar. It tasted off. I did forget to chill the dough but I just decided to put the caramels in the dough, which kind of worked. Super sweet in a bad way

The cookies will likely spread considerably if the dough is too warm.
