I find that the sticks to the bacon better when it is sprinkled, but I’m guessing it will still work either way.

This sounds delicious and though I haven’t made it yet, I have a similar recipe using mini smoked sausage links wrapped in bacon. But for this recipe, I’m wondering: Can the brown sugar be mixed into the melted butter instead of sprinkling it on separately?
